Protesters held an open meeting yesterday Saturday April 27 in the quad. They discussed the national attention that the Cal Poly Humboldt occupation has received and what demands would need to be met for the occupation to end.
They boiled the demands down to three D’s,
Deescalate: to not allow police on campus and not bring any punishment to student protesters.
Divest: have an open process where investments going to Israel are reinvested locally.
Declare: For the campus to call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Palestine, and for Cal Poly Humboldt to pressure California State University systems to do the same.
A group of over 50 people marched from the plaza and joined the protest. Some went to the quad and others stayed at the newly barricaded LK wood entrance to campus.

Los manifestantes sostuvieron una reunión abierta ayer, sábado abril 27, en patio. Discutieron la atención nacional que ha recibido la ocupación de Cal Poly Humboldt y qué demandas deberían cumplirse para que la ocupación termine.
Resumieron las demandas en tres D:
Desescalar: no permitir la presencia de la policía en el campus y que no se imponga un castigo a los estudiantes que están manifestando.
Desinversión: contar con un proceso abierto donde las inversiones dirigidas a Israel sean reinvertidas localmente.
Declarar: que el campus exija un alto inmediato al fuego y permanente en Palestina, y que Cal Poly Humboldt presione a los sistemas de la Universidad Estatal de California para que hagan lo mismo.
Más de cincuenta manifestantes caminaron desde la plaza de Arcata y juntaron la demostración. Algunos fueron a la quad y otros a la calle bloqueada.
