Ayan Cabot – Running for President

“My name is Ayan Cabot, and I am a junior majoring in Political Science and minoring in International Studies. I am currently serving as your Executive Vice President of the Associated Students of Cal Poly Humboldt, and I am proud to announce my candidacy for your next A.S. President.”

Nate Heron – Running for Administration and Finance Vice President 

“My name is Nate Heron, and I am a third-year student studying Environmental Science and Geospatial Analysis. I am excited to run for re-election as your Administration and Finance Vice President.”

Roselyn Montanez – Running for Executive Vice President 

“My name is Roselyn Montanez, and I am excited to be running for the Associated Students position of Executive Vice President. I am currently in my second year at Cal Poly Humboldt, soon entering my third, and I am pursuing a degree in Psychology with plans to attend Dental School after graduation.”

Riley Hemenover – Running for Officer of Student Affairs

“Hello, my name is Riley Hemenover. I am a third-year Psychology student with minors in Child Development, Family Studies, and Studio Art. I have been the Officer of Student Affairs for the past year and am confident that I will excel in the role again.” 

Write In Candidates: 

Write-in candidates are people who do not appear on the ballot that are still eligible to win an election. Write-in candidates are students who have gathered signatures to participate in the election, but have done so after the standard candidate filling period. Constitutes who wish to cast their votes for these candidates must “write in” their choice’s name. 

Paola Ferreyra – Running for Officer of Environmental Sustainability

“Hi my name is Paola Ferreyra, and I am running for the Associated Students Officer of Environmental Sustainability role. I am a current second-year student going into my third year with a Major in Oceanography and a Minor in Geology.”

Joel Hardin – Running for Officer of Academic Affairs

“Hello, my name is Joel Hardin and I am running for Officer of Academic Affairs as a write-in candidate! I am running on a platform of reimagining support for students here on campus. As the world changes around us and life goes on, I find it important to ensure that everyone’s story is being heard. If elected, I will be the voice for those who need it.”

Gabriel Elbert-Rasmussen – Running for Officer of Academic Affairs
