Cal Poly Humboldt lifts it’s mask mandate

On March 14, Cal Poly Humboldt will no longer be requiring face masks indoors or outdoors regardless of vaccination status.  The university will also be officially lifting limits on room capacity.

According to an email sent out by the university, masks will still be required in the following places:

  • While occupying any state-provided transportation with more than one person, including buses and work vehicles
  • All medical and clinical spaces
  • The athletics training room, and any time student-athletes are receiving athletic training services

To access campus facilities, students, staff and faculty must either be fully vaccinated plus booster if eligible, or qualify for an exemption as required by the Chancellor of the California State University system.

N95s and surgical masks will be available for free in the College Creek mailroom, Jolly Giant Commons mailroom, University Police Department, Library, and the Student Activities Center.
