ES 396: The 27th Annual International Latino Film Festival is a three-day event hosted March 2-4 from 6-10:20 p.m. at The Minor Theatre, with one movie each night. This year’s theme, “Desde Este Lado Del Sueño” will focus on examining borders, dreams and the realities in between. Even if you don’t take the class, you can go to any of the movies for free and it is open to the public.
ES 280: Hip Hop Conference Attendance taught by Professor Ramona Bell is a two-day conference, hosted at Cal Poly Humboldt, which will explore hip hop culture through academic presentations, performances and community building events. Even if you don’t take the class, you can go to this conference for free and it is open to the public.
