Join our staff or volunteer: El Leñador is an award-winning student-run newspaper (see our mission) and Cal Poly Humboldt students from any major can register for the class (JMC 160 is credit/no credit). No prior journalism experience or Spanish knowledge is required. The prerequisite can be waived, just contact our adviser. Students produce four print editions each semester and content for this website, plus social media. Join us, it’s fun and a great way to make a difference on and off campus.
